Spas and swim spas are no longer the luxury they used to be that could only be afforded by the most wealthy. Space is more of a limiting factor for some people, at least to have it inside. With a great choice of options though including mini sizes, portable spas and spa gazebos to maximise the use you get from an outdoor spa, a spa is a good option for many people and the benefits are wider than you might think.

You of course know that a spa can be relaxing, you may use one at your health club, having your own though is quite different. Having a spa at home means you can use it in peace and quite, with fiends or while enjoying other entertainment such as TV or a drink: you couldn’t open a tinny in the spa at your local health club.

A spa is a great place to socialise with friends, bare in mind how many people you may have round when you choose what size to go for. A four person capacity may be ok for four people occasionally and then ideal for two people to sit comfortably on a day to day basis don’t forget.

A spa can be very relaxing on your own after a hard day at work, feel your aches and pains go away and just rest. A dip in a spa before bed may aid sleep but it can energize you come morning as well. You don’t have to just sit there in a spa of course you could enjoy some entertainment such as music or TV nearby. Spend the evening watching a movie from the comfort of your spa though you will come out wrinkly you will also be very relaxed.

Healthwise spas are very beneficial, most of all for those who do a lot of sport and have sore muscles to rest and relax. The pressure of the water and heat of the water can relax muscles and aid the release of lactic acid knotted up in muscles.

If you go for a swim spa then you can even use your spa for exercise. With a swim spa you usually have a normal spa that is big enough for you to swim in, not turning at each end but staying still relative to the spa with the water moving past you from powerful jets. These jets of course can be adjusted to set the speed you want to go. Many people don’t have the space for a pool big enough to swim in so this is ideal for many keen swimmers who like to fit in a little bit of swimming most days either for exercise or relaxation. Some swim spas have a separate spa attached so others can enjoy the spa and chat with you while you swim.

A gazebo or rather a spa gazebo designed for the purpose of covering a spa can give you a lot more use for an outdoor spa. The gazebo can keep off rain and wind and can be closed all around if needed, it can also keep off the sun if needed in the summer if you don’t want your time in the spa to be limited by how long it takes you to get sunburn.
